Contract award - Home energy efficiency improvements and advice: Warm Wales Programme

The service provider to manage and deliver an all-Wales demand-led fuel poverty scheme (Nest) has been awarded to British Gas New Heating Ltd and is due to begin in April 2018.

Welsh translation and interpretation services

A speculative notice has been issued for the renewal of the Welsh translation and interpretation services framework.

Work is ongoing to develop the new agreement. There will be a short gap between the expiry of the current framework (June 2018) and the go-live date of the new framework (October 2018), as we are aligning the procurement with the translation professional examination calendar. Customers are able to award call-off contracts (direct call-off or via mini-competition) from the current framework, prior to its expiry date to cover those intervening months and ensure continuity of service. For further advice around this, please contact us on the mailbox below.

VAT and financial services consultancy

A prior information notice was issued on 8 January 2018.

The Category Forum Group (CFG) is currently working on the options appraisal and specification. The contract notice is due to be published in March 2018.

The outcomes report for the CFG meeting held on 6 December is now available on Sell2Wales.

If you would like to be involved in the Category Forum Group and be informed of the next meeting, please contact us on the mailbox below.

Legal training

Suppliers on the legal services by solicitors framework are offering a wide range of free and paid for legal training and briefing events. The schedule is available here.

For further information, please contact us on the mailbox below.

Construction consultancy (property)

This agreement has now been extended to December 2018 and there are a small number of price amendments. Please see the updated funnelling tool on Sell2Wales.

Following the successful supplier events late last year, we are now reviewing the feedback received to ensure that the outcome of any tender exercise is the correct fit for customer requirements. This means that the date for issue of any contract notice has been delayed pending further market and customer engagement.
