Occupational health Category Forum Group (CFG) meeting and workshops

An occupational health CFG meeting and workshops are being held on Thursday 19 April at the Waterton Technology Centre, Bridgend from 10am to 3:30pm.

The agenda will cover the impact of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on occupational health services and medical information, identifying information owners and required actions.

Also up for discussion will be the development of service specifications, occupational health software systems and management and Key Performance Indicator reporting templates for occupational health and HR managers.

Last chance to complete occupational health and associates services survey

This is your last chance to complete our online survey to support the Occupational Health and Associated services framework.

The survey was launched in March to gather information on the services customers have contracted and wish to secure in future. Answers will inform the specification within the Invitation to Tender documents for the new All Wales Occupational Health and Associated services framework agreement which is due to start on 1 April 2019.

The survey requests detailed information on:

  • occupational health services
  • employee assistance programmes and counselling services
  • eye care schemes
  • physiotherapy services
  • body scanning services
  • specialist physicians
  • second opinions
  • ad hoc requirements

We are also asking for the employee head count for your organisation, the period of current contracts and their annual value, numbers of referrals etc.

The survey closes on Tuesday 10 April 2018.

We will use the survey information to develop a summary of demand for use at the workshop on 19 April 2018.
