Provision of facilities management services (managed service) framework

The provision of facilities management services (managed service) framework (NPS-CFM-0042-15) is now available for NPS member organisations to use.

The framework allows customers to utilise a fully managed service for Facilities Management Services. Customers wishing to use the framework should only do so for a minimum of 2 services. The framework offers a number of benefits to customers, including:

  • value for money - through supplier management of cost and performance data
  • reporting - each supplier on the framework offers a computer-assisted facilities management system to manage contract data
  • flexible service provision - customers are free to pick which services they require from the managed service agent (minimum of 2 services).

The framework has been awarded to the companies listed below, and comprises 3 service lots covering all aspects of facilities management services. All service lots are on an all-Wales basis.

  1. soft facilities management services: Cofely; Kier Support Services; Mitie Technical Facilities Management; Solo Services; Vinci Facilities
  2. hard facilities management services: Cofely; Integral UK Ltd; Kier Support Services; Mitie Technical Facilities Management; Norland Managed Services; Vinci Facilities
  3. total facilities management services: Cofely; Integral UK Ltd, Kier Support Services; Mitie Technical Facilities Management; Norland Managed Services; Vinci Facilities.

All call-offs from the framework are through the mini-competition process. To run mini-competitions, customers may utilise the following tools:

  • eTenderWales (Bravo)
  • issue and receive their documents electronically via e-mail.

Following feedback from customers, catalogues have not been produced for this framework.

Launch events for customers to meet suppliers are not planned at present However, if there is sufficient demand from customers, NPS will look to arrange events. Please contact the NPS Construction and Facilities Management team to express an interest.

Customers can also utilise the Welsh Purchasing Card (Barclaycard) for this framework.
