Goodbye message from Sue Moffatt

Goodbye message from Sue Moffatt

I am moving on to take up a new challenge.

“Firstly, I want to thank everyone involved in making Procurex Wales 2018 happen last month. It was our biggest and best conference yet and went fantastically well. Next years’ conference is already scheduled to place on 7 November.

“The day was bittersweet for me as after over 5 years with Welsh Government, I am moving on to take up a new challenge.

“It has been a very enjoyable 5 years. Our profession is well respected by UK government in terms of professional skills and capabilities and are seen as pathfinders by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply for the work around Modern Slavery. Work I know that the team will continue to build on.

“I have been offered an amazing secondment opportunity to lead the commercial, market and industry engagement aspects of the Transforming Forensics Programme for UK Policing, working with all 43 police forces in England and Wales.

“I start my new role in early December and want to thank you all for your hard work and support over the years and wish you all luck as you move forward towards the UK exit from the European Union and all the challenges that will pose for everyone.”
