Digital, Data and ICT team works with framework suppliers to deliver Well-Being of Future Generations initiatives

The Digital, Data and ICT team has been working with suppliers to facilitate innovative projects to help deliver a number of Well-Being of Future Generations Initiatives.

The team held a dynamic workshop with suppliers from across all ICT Frameworks on the theme of the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) in October last year. The successful event resulted in suppliers devising 2 initiatives to deliver benefits across Wales.

  • Mentoring – suppliers are working in partnership with the Prince’s Trust Wales who have 2 on-line mentoring schemes available. These will enable Welsh and UK-based suppliers, to deliver benefits to young people in Wales. This exciting initiative is supported by 9 suppliers; Dell, Computacenter, Arcanum Information Security, Bridewell Consulting, Centerprise, Capital Network Solutions, Canda Copying, Insight and Price Waterhouse Coopers, and began earlier this month
  • Community Projects – suppliers will be working in partnership with Business in the Community Wales to deliver projects which deliver benefits to local communities. This initiative is in the planning stage and is looking at next steps to deliver projects later this year.
