Framework updates.

Information Assurance Services (IAS) and Supply of Multi-Functional Devices (MFD)

We are looking at options for providing Information Assurance Services and Multi-functional Devices after the current initial two-year term of the frameworks (22nd January 2019) We will submit option appraisals to the NPS Delivery Group by the autumn for customer representatives to consider.

Agile Digital and ICT Resources Agreement (ADIRA)

The tender for a single supplier contract for the Agile Digital and ICT Resources Agreement is being evaluated.

The purpose of the agreement is to:

  • reduce complexity in bringing in resource
  • access skills and expertise to supplement customer organisations’ internal capacity and capabilities, and
  • provide access to a diverse supply chain, including Welsh micro businesses.

We aim to appoint a “supply partner” to provide access to resource on a neutral basis and at a standard set margin across the Welsh public sector.

The evaluations will consist of 6 written question responses and supplier demonstrations.

The timetable for the evaluation is:

  • w/c 18/06: Individual technical evaluation - Remote evaluation using eAward tool (3 weeks)
  • w/c 09/07: Technical moderation - Face to face or conference call (half day)
  • w/c 09/07: Demonstration brief - Conference call (1 hr)
  • w/c 30/07: Demonstration evaluation - In person demonstration (2 days)
  • w/c 13/08: Demonstration moderation - Face to face or conference call (half day)

The above time scales are indicative and may be impacted by the number of tender responses.

We’d like to thank our customers who have contributed towards the tender and the evaluation process.

If you would like to discuss the framework, please contact Paul Robertson at NPSICTCategoryTeam@gov.wales

The contract is due to go live on the week starting 1 October 2018.
